Synopsis: A young man gets a summer job to do something with the time he has left. The ranch where he works is run by a grumpy older man who has nothing left in his life to enjoy. The two develop a strong friendship and ultimately, the rancher is moved to live up to a higher name than his own.

Description: This film was a training exercise for the 2010 Christian Filmmakers Camp in Norwood, Colorado. We attended the camp and were trained by industry expert Norton Rodriguez on basic cinematography, lighting, sound, composition, casting, and more.

One of the options for the camp was to bring a story or script of our own and it would be considered for the production. Not wanting to come empty handed, I wrote a script and brought it along with a little hope that it would be chosen. After a close vote, mine was selected and we shot the movie on May 20th and 21st, 2010. It was a marathon production as the script ballooned up on us with a number of locations and many extra scenes that weren't expressly written into the script.

Each of us got to direct, film, do sound and so on for the production. It was truly an honor and a joy to be part of such a wonderful experience.
